  • I think Barbara walked in on every Hal/Margo hug, ever.

This is a superb performance from Lindsay Frost. She was so underrated, but I think these episodes from the time of the crash were her bets work as Betsy.

It's tough to imagine Lily getting straight A's...but she had an entire town protecting her at all costs.

Meg's hair is 80's in the front and Ingmar Bergman period piece in the back.

Did we ever see the front of Craig's house after Sierra left? When did they redo the hospital set?

  • @CarlD2 You're so right about those Hal/Margo hugs. Tom walked in on his share of them too.

I had a hard time understanding why Lily was having a prom when it was almost July. Then again this huge reveal was happening in the middle of a week, which was also odd. Perhaps the Iran/Conta hearings delayed some episodes.

By the fall, that hospital cafeteria opened up to showcase Sabrina's mural.

  • Great performance by HBS. And a lovely scene between Iva and Meg.

I miss the Stewarts. They were such a wonderful family.

    Thanks as always for posting.

  • @sneeyize45 Life can be like that, though. I'm sure many families have waited to tell a child that they were adopted, unless it's painfully obvious. Maybe with Aaron it was more realistic because even if he overheard it, he was too young to voice an opinion. Many people were protecting Iva and Lily because of the rape element. Some knew for well over a year, but Josh had only come to town a few months earlier. It's the people who blackmailed Lucinda that really could have blown it all.

  • I'm just surprised that the secret about Lily's parentage wasn't revealed before this. I think it was the most poorly kept secrets in Oakdale's history. I swear, I remember, at least half of the town of Oakdale already knew the truth and behind Lily's back it was dinner table conversation. The way they had so many people in Oakdale listen into conversation through doors and walls, etc, why would this not be revealed to Lily and Josh (Rod) beforehand?

  • This was a great episode -- so many tightly interwoven stories coming to a climax or just beginning (Hal & Margo).
