Phil Petillo was a great man, a great guitar maker, and a kind soul. I remember taking my cheap acoustic to his shop when I was 8 years old, and he treated me just like any other client! I continued to use him for repairs and purchased his strings, even after moving out of state, until I was no longer able to get up that way the past 10 years.
read today phil pettillo past away, I will miss him He spoke to me of family kids hard work and most of all God . With deepest regret George Sebastian Woodworking
I'm always amazed when I enter the workshop of this brilliant (but humble) Craftsman and Inventor.....the place fairly hums with Music history and there is always something cool and new to learn from Phil and David. These men are true artists as well as Patrons of the Arts and are also two of the nicest people I've ever encountered...always willing to help the local struggling musicians!
