To sell the naming rights (& to buy them) of a building that for almost 40 years has been called the "Sears Tower" is just arrogant.
Also it's tacky, can you imagine they said "the Empire State Building will now officially be called Wells Fargo tower"? ugh.
Not to mention pointlessly greedy as the owners would get plenty from the tenants who I'm sure loved saying they were located in the Sears Tower instead of now getting "Willis?" & having to explain things that 2 years didn't need to be.

I am twelve, andI went to the Sky Deck a couple weeks ago. It makes me mad that they changed the name to Willis Tower. I'll always call it the Sears Tower, no matter what other dumb names they come up with.

Since the Sears Tower was officially renamed the Willis Tower, the skydeck manager and locals were too embarrassed to rename the skydeck the "Willis Tower Skydeck". Instead, they went with "Skydeck Chicago".
I think both the Sears Tower Skydeck and Skydeck Chicago are excellent names. We all know why the Sears Tower Skydeck is an excellent name, and as for Skydeck Chicago, they're giving you a subliminal message implying: "No visit to Chicago is complete without the Skydeck Chicago experience!"
