Over 25 years, the Governor's Charity Steer show has donated more than one million dollars to the Ronald McDonald Houses in Iowa. Each year, celebrities and dignitaries, including Iowa's governors, become animal exhibitors for a day. Governor Chet Culver took his turn around the ring at this year's charity event.

  • 27cowgirl.. that girl was me!!..and the reason he got away was because he had a very very funny personality!.. and it wasn't that embarrasing.. only if you don't have a sense of humor!.. haha

  • lol i walk steers at shows like the easter how and other cattle shows but we wear show uniform lol its fun expecially when u get called up to recieve a ribbon

  • ommg i want to go to a show like that just to check it out.

  • The steers were very nice. I showed at the '08Iowa State Fair at the 4-H part. That was funny but embarrasing when that girls cattle go loose. That would suck and this is a very nice show.

  • What a wonderful, funny and clever event! How nice to have everyone go and walk the steers around. I wish we did something like this at our fair.
