  • god and also nancy walker scene:

'i love you dont shut me out '.etc.beautiful

this is a supurb Dramatic episode worthy of any great Movie of today.

  • brilliant an amazing scene when joe leaves and well written

  • @woohooboy Yeah I agree, the writer's should've pulled a Mary. I would've been fine with that.

  • @camelpolice - Agreed!. The should have followed the template laid down on "The Mary Tyler Moore Show". The writers resisted the temptation to have Mary Richards married off and kept her single. Introducing Joe in the second or even third season and have a gradual romance develop between him and Rhoda would have been far more effective. The could have eventually married and have children. Joe was introduced, married to and seperated from Rhoda in such a short span of time that it felt too rushed

  • I understand why the writer's wanted to seperate Rhoda and Joe but I feel like Rhoda shouldn't have gotten married in the first season to begin with. It would have been cooler if she just focused on herself and became a totally independent woman in the first season and then married later. It's sad to see her achieve all her dreams and then have it taken away so quickly just because her character is more likeable when she's single.

  • Val was soo great...love her!

  • One of the defiant episodes of "Rhoda". Both Valerie Harper and Nancy Walker were just dynamite in that last scene. And Joe was a complete JERK!
