This is my 2nd in a series of videos I will be posting of the Lake Metroparks I will be visiting that are scattered around Lake County, Ohio here were I live.

Hidden Valley Park borders the Grand River below a spectacular, exposed 360 million year-old Chagrin Shale cliff. Views of the wide, scenic river are visible from a flat, riverside trail. Trees along the river and trail display evidence of busy beavers. This park offers visitors excellent access to the Grand River.

152 Acres. Accessible facilities. Picnic area with grills. Picnic shelter with fire ring. Drinking water. Restrooms. Hiking trails. Playground. Fishing. Sledding hill. Ball and game fields. Pay phone. Canoe access.

  • Finally got a chance to go out there this afternoon and climb the waterfall with the water from the recent rain coming down. I'll definitely be spending a lot of time there this summer.

  • @FMASteeb Glad you found it.. Yeah with all this rain we have been having I bet there was so much water coming down those falls it probably didn't even look like these falls in this video.. Probably alot of muddy water too! Thanks for coming back and leaving your comment saying you found the falls.

  • I realize you posted this a long time ago, but if you see this comment, could you tell me how to get to that awesome waterfall at 1:16? I've been here a few times, walked far into the woods along the water, and I must not have gone far enough, or something. lol

  • @FMASteeb Thanks for stopping by.... To get to the water falls you have to walk along the river until you can't go anymore, they have it blocked and the sign says not to go any farther. Climb over that fence and it isn't much farther but you have to climb a steep cliff upwards, be careful thats why its blocked! Once you get to the top of that cliff you should be able to see the waterfalls to your left. Years ago they did not have it blocked and we would walk it seemed like forever back there.

  • @MoviesMusicNature Thanks for replying so quickly. As soon as the weather gets a little warmer I'll have to check it out.

  • @FMASteeb No problem... I'll bet the waterfalls are really flowing right now with all this rain and snow melt going on. When I was filming this it was Summertime and the water was low..
