Nicks P.O.V

I fastened Lily's baby grow, put her back into her cot and slid back into the bed beside Miley and pulled her close again, she was still giggling, I couldnt help but smile seeing her so happy, it was definitely a change... then I thought about Joe and that he knew, he knew Id broke my promise to God... I needed to speak to him... like now "Miles, Baby, Im gonna go have a quick word with Joe, okay?" she looked up and nodded still giggling I smiled and brought her chin closer to me with my thumb and index finger before meeting her lips with mine... well that stopped the giggles... I kissed her gently but I forced every inch of my love for her into that kiss and pulled away smiling "I love you" I said getting up "I know Nicky, I love you too" she smiled and I went to Joes room.




Mileys P.O.V

I watched him leave the room and sighed contentedly just letting the memories of us together fill my mind "Im a Jersey girl, in a Jersey world" I jumped about a mile then "I have dark roots, I wear white boots" huh? I realized then it must be Nicks phone... what a weird ringtone "Tattoo on my back, I like to dress in black" I saw the phone on the dressing table then, I knew Nick wouldnt mind so I accepted the call, not even bothering to check caller ID "Nick?" I recognized the voice but I didnt know who it was... "Um, no, its Miley..." "Miles! Hey Girly!" Demi... how didnt I recognize her voice? Well she had only said one word before that in all fairness "Hey Dem-Demz!" I giggled "whats up?" "well" there was a long pause "does Nick still have that Barbie girl parody as the ringtone for me? The 'Jersey girl' one?" I giggled "yup" "well" she continued "he needs to change it..." Okay, what was she on about? "uh, why?" she giggled "because this time next week I wont be a Jersey girl, Im moving" "oh, where to?" "Im moving to..." she left a long pause "TEXAS!" my mouth dropped and the phone fell onto the bed

Nicks P.O.V

"so you really dont think its classed" Joe shook his head "nope, not really cause, well lets say Ill dance in a hula skirt and coconut bra on the news if you two dont get married someday" I chucked "yeah... damn, I wanted to see you do that!" he smiled and shook his head "anyway, as long as Billy and Mom dont find out, its all good!" I smiled and nodded "Joe, thanks, youre the best big bro a guy could ask for" "I heard that!" Kevin walked through Joes bedroom door and folded his arms "well, I uh" I stammered and Kevin laughed "Jeeze, I was joking" and he patted me on the back, "I agree with Joe though, dont worry about it" and with that he left and Joe and I did our handshake thingy its too complicated to explain -which ended in a hug and when I pulled away the first thing he said was "So, if Im the best big brother, does that mean I get to be best man at the wedding?" I laughed and patted him on the back "Course it does, Joe, weve been best friends since... since I learned to talk" I laughed "I love Kevin and Frankie and all, but they just arent my best buds, they just... dont entertain me, they dont bug me, humiliate me, mock me, tease me, play jokes on me... any of that" I laughed, continuing "see, I teach you how to be more serious and deep and you show me that its good to loosen up and... be a kid sometimes" he smiled then obviously pleased at my little speech "hey, what are brothers for?" he chuckled slightly "Seeya Mr. Pres" I chuckled "Later Danger" and I left the room and walked into my room to find it... empty.
