Look only in the middle of the screen. Then alternating two faces are projected in the two hemispheres of the brain. The duration of the presentation of the two faces is 1 second. Perhaps then traumatic experiences can be better treated. Please keep in mind that this video is not scientifically tested. So be critical. This video is very experimental. If you feel nervous, then stop watching this movie. Please, hear the audio-signal not too aloud, so that it is pleasant to you.

Some information for making this movie:
You can make the sound easy with the software "audacity 1.3", which is open-source. The pictures can be made easy with every photo-software. I used "photoshop 6.0". Perhaps these colors can integrate wishes and can aid to grounding. Cheap and easy to use is the software for making the movie itself: After all I used "ulead videostudio 9".

  • So? Now what? I did what you told to do...?

  • @huisvrouwtjuh Please take a look at the descriptions of the videos: "staring at a face -- an old technique against social anxiety" and "Technique for overcoming depressions: The handwritten conversation in a face to face contact"

  • ok so you gotta explain this some. It's interesting!

  • @daddycubjudah

maybe it is working, because of an enphancement of the communication of the female and male brains in us.

  • @ansgar1965 btw: Thank you for your effort to place this video. It's very interesting stuff. ;-)

  • @ansgar1965 Maby i missunderstood, English is not my native language wich sometimes makes me troubled. I kept staring at full screen, to the middle cross. With the sound softly so it didn't irritate me. It made me kind of sleepy. hahah should that happen? I will try again later. is it ment to be staring at the middle all the time?I'm on a list waithing for official EMDR and very curious about what the effects will be in the end. :-)

  • Hello Ansgar. You have no idea how powerful some of your emdr work is. I thank you and salute you and your good work. I think the experimental EMDRs have multiple applications and I would like to understand the process you employed to develop them. thank you again.
