Bright Star Solar Spinners Wheel Exploding!

This is a recent clip of a Bright Star Solar Spinners Garden Pinwheel that I set off for New Year's Day night (yesterday) exploding while it was going off and nearly set fire to the fence at the same time!

Me and the kids were stood well back when it happened;nobody got hurt. This is the thing with imported Chinese fireworks complying with British Standard 7114,even though safeguards are put in place to ensure the consumer gets safe reliable fireworks you still get the odd bad one that falls into the retail chain causing this sort of thing.

Bright Star are easy to find, quite a few shops round my way sell them, along with the Starburst brand. This pack is no longer available BUT I found stocks at an all year round firework shop called Fireworks & Scooters Direct Bank Street Rawtenstall Lancs,mon wed thurs fri sat 10.00-4.30.

Bright Star are an hard to find brand- I think now "Starburst" - yeah, that WAS dangerous! lol . I have a load of Catherine Wheels , they are always left over because they whistle, and I don't like whistles.
