@lyn1954o - Oddly, despite his being a gay man, I don't know many gay men who can stand him as an artist. I don't mind a couple of songs, but I'd mostly fall into that camp (as it were).

Davey does still use a Steinberger and the bass version is very cool. I think they've even stopped making the cheap end versions though now, so if you can lay your hands on one of the originals it'll set out back a few grand

My Dad was at this Xmas eve gig, he said Elton was awesome, especially in the first set before the cameras went live. He said the 2nd set was more commercial. Anyway, I think Elton is incredible.
