mango butter cocoa butter and shea I get from ebay.
http://myworld.ebay.com/imstepmom/

you can get all items on ebay, also some sellers sell a trio combo where you can get a lb of all the butters, I find that the oils are cheaper at the my dekalb farmers market

recipe: Makes approx. 8 ozs.

Ingredients:
1/4 cup cocoa butter
1/4 cup natural shea butter
1/4 mango butter
1/4 cup coconut oil
3 teaspoon almond oil
3 teaspoons avocado oil 1/4 teaspoon Vitamin E. (optional, as a preservative)

Directions:

Add all the butter ingredients in a double boiler until all the ingredients have liquefied. (do not boil). The continued heating will help prevent the butters from becoming grainy once solid. Add additional oils and let set to cool for a few hours or set on bowl of ice. Before the mixture sets, stir or even whip, to incorporate. .

Note: This is a firmer body butter.
If you prefer a softer butter, the
consistency can be adjusted
by decreasing the amount of
cocoa butter
or add more oil

  • I just ordered a bunch of stuff to make some body butters and lip balms - I can't wait! Great video and your hands look very smooth (from what is visible)! :)

  • @gypsiemoondancer u will love the butter, one tip make your first batch small because a little goes along way and if u won't to alter your butter u can do that easier if u start out small, good luck and have fun

  • Used your mix and it worked out just fine! Cooling shea melted butter slowly is the trick, used bowl in cool water. The mix stayed soft after cooling, just what I wanted. Keeping it simplw is the way, THANK YOU SO MUCH...TRACK :-))

  • @TRACKtoU, I am happy u tried it and tha it worked for u.

stay blessed and thank u for commenting

  • i have a question..i like the cocoa butter unmelted like I am buying it because it is not that super oily..I don't understand why if I am melting the cocoa block and add nothing at all to it..at the end it has a different contency...it is malting a lot faster that it did before aldought i did not added a single drop of oil..can somebody please respond?...thanks

  • @qeeeenve, I am not really sure of the question but melted cocoa butter will harden back up to it's original state once it cools just give it time.

  • Last night I melted to together some cocoa butter, coconut oil and vitamin E. It came out too hard and greasy. I bought some shea butter today so I will try to re-melt it again and add it. I didn't think to whip it. I will definitely give that a try.

  • @KidneyGirl91 Thank you.
