If you've found this video through searching YouTube the chances are you've already seen my first one, Hobo Living (if not then go check it out).

Anyway, until now the only video available from my freight hopping trip in New York state in July 2005 was Hobo Living. But now I have gone through all my tapes again and added loads of clips onto my site to work in conjunction with my write-up about the adventure. You could go and check it all out if you wanted:

http://www.freighthopping.com

This video is basically a trailer for that new footage.

By the way, to all the h8rZ out there who will certainly call me an idiot and make a long list about all the dangerous things I did and what could have happened to me blah blah blah, please would you AT LEAST read my write-up on my site before going off on your ridiculous rants. See, so many of the things you all say are wrong and/or answered in my write-up and it will reduce the risk of you writing something completely dumb again and again and again like with Hobo Living.

Thanks in advance.

  • it must've been a unforgettable experience ...

...feeling the air embrace you, hearing train horns roaring towards the horizon, observing the serenity of the night, not knowing where you're heading.. oh the freedom.

  • Just hopped my first train 3 weeks ago in Vermont. It was incredible, right until I jumped off, fell, and dislocated my shoulder!

  • anyone know where the best place to catch out headed west in ct?

  • Hobo, you can't ride this train.

  • That had to be an amazing experience. My cousin knew an older man who had done that in his younger years in the 80s. He said a lot of guys lose their legs trying to jump on the trains because they're actually travelling faster than they look, and he called the railroad police "bulls", lol! He said they had their own lingo for everything, and he met someone named "Crazy Mary" and said she was as tough as any man and that no one would mess with her.

  • im braver than you !

i just aint got the cash for the flight !
