It might be 70% or 90% or even 50%. The government wastes time "negotiating" with the media what percentage lives under $1 or $2, instead of doing things to lift Nigerians out of poverty. My country is fucked!!

Utter nonsense, I liken it to a wisecrack we used to toss about as children; White Person to African....is it true that you Africans live on trees? ; African to White Person...yes, its true, and your Ambassador to my country lives on the biggest tree..
This distorted mindset must be kicked to the kerb, I urge the Nigerian national assembly to pass the P.I.B with immediate effect.

this is simply not true! 1 dollar is about 150 naira and 2 dollars is about 300 naira. thats a lie! you cant even by milo mix or peak milk in nigeria with that money. its a damn lie!
i dont believe western media. if thats the case, nigeria should be the poorest country in africa if majority of its citizens lived on 150 naira.
