As mercenary Keith Maxwell, you are hired by Admiral G. Smith of the Terran Space Fleet for suicide missions. You receive your own small spaceship as your first payment. Your mission is to help the humans in battles against the bloodthirsty Vossk alien race. Of course the other fighter pilots are not exactly happy that you are joining them as a soldier, and there are many rivalries among the pilots.

At first you will have to perform menial tasks such as clearing space trash near the base station. But the cute female fighter pilot Christine seems to like you and quickly promotes you to help her in difficult missions. You two have to work together as a team to escort transport fleets and fly missions against the Vossks. Over the course of the story, you will also continuously meet dubious characters who sometimes have questionable but extremely lucrative assignments for you.

You are allowed to keep the goods you capture during your missions for yourself and sell them at the space stations and on planets, which allows you to quickly upgrade your spaceship with more powerful weapons and shields or buy a better spaceship in order be able to fight the Vossks...

Huge tip. Get the wraith, titan shield, styx, and nemesis, then go to the bottom left quadrant to find the Centuar ship, Ghe'msk, Atlas, and anubis
