@traplican Yes, You´re right, and also I know better. A year ago I saw a performance of this dance from U.S. and I asked the user after the name: And I got this wrong answer - appearently he didn´t know better, too, and did not understand the Czech lyrics. But some weeks ago I searched after Czech folk music, to discover pieces also known from Germany or Austria, and found 10+ vids about this song with the right lyrics !
Best Regards from the Ruhr Area

@alpenfrauchen Not Barbarov but Bavorov :-). Kdyby byl Bavorov (co jsou Vodňany). Bavorov is Southern-Bohemian town which name is derived from "Bavory" or "Bavorsko" which are Czech names of Bavaria.

You are right.... but I searched for the Czech name of the 2nd tune already here at YouTube.,, In Southern Germany and Austria it´s "Hans bleib da", in the Czech Republic it´s called "Barbarov Polka, in russia "Trava Moja Trava"... Hits spread from one country to the other also in the past !!!
