When I was 20 years old, I was heavily into these cats.
I rented a camera with the intention of documenting the performance. Amazingly, I managed to interview them behind The Rivoli. My friend Andrew Bee provided alot of
techinical support. In short, a thought lost batch archive of lost tapes was incredibly found.
I loved Sink The Aging Process and corresponded with Licht pre-email with the intention of releasing something on my imprint, ain sof. He sent me an excerpt of a track that would appear on Rabbi Sky. I guess I didn't have enough money or time or both to commit and we didn't get to work together. He gave both myself and many of my friends a quick study through his writings about alot of really intense music and thought. A total educator. Getting the chance to see these two together and hear them on recording over the years has been one of the great joys of this strange existence. Loren Connors has made a deep impression on my brainwaves and his work continues to evoke deep portals of emotions and I think about him affectionately even when I haven't heard his music for months, even when I'm on the bus, or talking to someone, I feel like telling them about him. He's always there.
The intention with this footage was to become part of a work in progress entitled 'impossible music'. A great deal of footage was commited to tape and the archives will continue to unfold and hopefully evolve.
Great background stuff for movies, try singing with it, Coool, thumbs up
