Powder-fueled with a heart for freestyle.

A true deep-snow surfer with a heart for freestyle, the Malolo™ shreds the entire mountain, spins off cliffs and kickers, and slashes from stash to stash with uncompromised float and flow precision. While others complain that there's too much snow, shred-i's like Haakon and Nico are riding a powder-fueled battering ram, hot-lapping the misties 'til their eyes bleed.

  • not for nothing how can this board top the burton JOHAN 63 which I have had for 10 years now, let me say this board the JOHAN 63 is a stiff aggressive mofo can this board top that board because I am looking in to upgrading my deck and keep the Johan as a collectors item, now I THINK IT NEEDS A REST.

  • really its a different board... I rode the old Johan and yeah, that board was a stiff beast and throttles everything in its path. But the Malolo is a different stick, turns alot faster and feels more playful than the Johan... So kind of apple and oranges when you compare the two, You could always look into a Supermodel X for a stiff nasty board...

  • I know this is an old video, but I love how you mentioned Tahoe haha. I live there, and I think I'm going to get the 2011 Malolo soon!

  • maolo is an ugly snowboard (N)

  • thanks for the comment back dude really I am looking into a stiff board with a forgiving pop to ride switch I was thinking of the T6 or something a bit less stiff than the johan but with its aggressiveness. I mean My johan is still good some dings here and there the base is impecable but one very small ding in the steel edge when I was doing tree runs not that bad I notice it after a couple of days because the base had a small bubble bump bearly see it.
