glammie4, Linda's first husband, Joseph Melvin See Jr. did committed suicide with a self-inflicted gunshot wound on March 19, 2000, at his home in Tucson, AZ. This happened one week after he discovered that Linda's entire estate, valued at over $220M was left to Paul McCartney.
I never did say you made a cat video. I only commented on it as you feature a cat video on your channel, thinking you may love cats. I got hooked on cats due to my former wife, who unfortunately died of cancer last year.

Actually I believe her first husband died two years ago, he did not kill himself after the marriage. I know he had died though much more recently.I think you have me confused with Cat videos I never made a video here. Everyone who does is so talented and I wouldn't dare. LOL !!

Yes, glammie4, you are right at first she was not highly paid but loved this kind of work, plus the assignments given to photograph up coming people in the entertainment field, even The Rolling Stones (not unknown). As you know, this later led to her meeting Paul McCartney and the eventual (second) marriage. She had a daughter Heather from her first marriage. After Linda died, her first husband Joseph later committed suicide almost 2 years later.
BTW, I like your cat video. I have 4 cats.

@yerblues1968 Very accurate, although when she was photographing people like The Doors, Aretha Franklin,BB King, they were relatively unknowns. i don't think her family connections factored into it, given the fact her father thought it was a useless job, and she really was not highly paid.

Actually, Linda Epstein (Eastman) was from a wealthy family. She was born in New York City as the second eldest of four children of Jewish-Russian parents. She grew up in the wealthy Scarsdale area of Westchester County, New York. Her father was a prominent attorney. Her mother Louise Sara Lindner Eastman—heiress to the Lindner Department Store fortune-died in a plane crash in 1962. Linda's wealthy background helped her to secure highly paid photography assignments with celebrities.

Yeah, right. Like she ever had to worry bout paying the rent! I think Eastman Kodak had enough to cover it, ha ha.

So What?
Actually that's a common mistake, Linda was not related to the Kodak Eastmans' and therefore not an heiress to the fortune there.

that's very true.
Actually her father's name was actually Epstein but later changed it to Eastman.
