It's an interesting design, but I have to wonder if putting the deflector dish right above the bridge, and behind it is a good idea.
-
Pretty good but pylons are supposed to be connected to the drive section. Not the saucer section.
-
Looks like a prototype design for a redesign Miranda Class---then Starfleet got a hold of the new technology and THAT design lead to the Miranda Class (Refit) design. Great work!
-
That is cool looking starship!!! :-) I really liked it.
-
Personally I would have thought the shuttle bay should be on the back of the extended saucer section but it's still cool.
-
@mancat999 it reminds me of the refit NX class from the non cannon sources

Wow! That's beautiful! Very nice look...although I could have done without the roll bar. That just seems to me like something that would be added, as if they were refit in something similar to the way the Constitution class was refit.
I can see someone taking a Polar Lights Enterprise and building this ship. Hmmm, next on my project list. Muahahaha!

Thanks again for all the comments. The first part of "Blood and Fire" will be released on December 20th, so you'll see lots more of the ship then.

Looks like someone took the engineering section, turned it upside down, then jammed it onto the back. O.o

An interesting - if inaccurate - observation.

The "Copernicus" (that's the ship in the test anim) was designed by Jeff Hayes as a TOS-era version of the Miranda class, as invisible 1982 pointed out. Jeff did a fantastic job! "Blood and Fire" is well into post-production. Part One should be released at or near the end of summer. Stay tuned! - Joel
