Someone on here said look at Scandanavian health care how great it is. Yeah, look at the personal income taxes to go with it. Dont talk about one issue of health care unless you are willing to discuss how it will be paid for. US Govt, Social Security, Sales Tax and State/Local taxes take 46% of my pay check. I would like to keep the rest thank you.

Where do you or your liberal friends think the gov. is going to get the money, TAXES, and I'll bet you, and as we have seen,most of the democrats in the Obama admin. do not pay. Because a majority of the electorate voted for them based on progressive ideas including healthcare ,including a public option,this was a cornerstone of the obama campaign and was no secret,,,democrats had and have a popular mandate

Im sure they would be glad to have single payer healthcare... it is the best and most obvious solution. The problem is it would never pass.

I believe the stats actually say that we are paying $1,000 more a year than you would be by covering them.
