Agree - these don't need to be played at speed as the beauty of the music is then lost. I'm a huge fan of Lauro's waltzes generally. This and its companion piece (la Gatica) are both beautiful and relatively accessible. Thanks Julie - very nice version x

I think this rendition is the most true to the bittersweatness of the melody out of all ones online. many of the others seem to me to loose the incredibal sadness of the first section by playing to rumbato and too fast, thank you, this one is lovely.
