Wyden on Cyber-Security: "Privacy should be the default not the exception"

May 21, 2012: Senator Ron Wyden (D-Oregon) spoke on the Senate floor about cyber-security and legislation being debated by Congress wherein he called for Congress to "write a cyber-security bill that protects American's security and their fundamental right to privacy."

All of our Senators and Represenatives were pushing SOPA, Cyber Security sounds like SOPA with a new name.

The NDAA is just wrong. If your Senator or Represenative voted for it he should be voted out of office. Obama signed it into law, he should be voted out of office. We do not need political prisoners.

Call Senator Wyden (202) 224-5244 and call the Senate 2022243121 Republican Senator of Arizona John Kyle and Democrat Senator Sheldon Whitehouse of Kansas have come to an agreement on CISPA which matches more the house version of CISPA then the Liberman-Collins bill. Please stop CISPA in the house. Tell Senator Wyden to put a block on CISPA.

You're not, and you know you're not, but all those politicians think that either you are or you should be (because they are ignorant). But in affirming what those other politicians believe, his argument holds greater credence in their minds, which is what's important when convincing other politicians that you are right, or shaming them into cooperating with your idea.
