Chop Shop - London Garage S2 e8 p5

Bernie, Leepu and the Chop Chop team have landed a new commission actor and comedian Johnny Vegas. He wants a mobile volcano in which he can play batman to solve all the world's ills and which will make him feel as if he's sitting on his gran's lap after she's eaten nine chilli peppers. Other than that, it's got to be a classic-shaped Volkswagen Golf - albeit an uber-powerful four wheel drive one (Johnny already drives a Golf R32). Chop Shop mechanics and panel beaters, Julian, Lee and Shaun embrace the project with wild optimism - sourcing the engine and four-wheel drive running gear from a 300hp Subaru Impreza, the like of which has found fame on the world rally stage.

Leepu's a moron. All his cars look shit. The mechanics did a great job with the 300bhp 4x4 golf - but Leepu destroyed it. This show would be 10 times better if Jonny Vegas could give his REAL opinion on Leepu's work - to tell him what a mess he's made. It's obvious he hates it, so why not liven the show up a bit by telling Leepu he's a gormless turd for not listening to the customers wishes.

Some parts of the body worked well but other areas just made it shitty and weird, make a good track day car though, the guys fitting the motor did a great job, shame leepu can't listen.
