My class is different from other Bellydance offerings in that it really focuses on training dancers to fuse Bellydance with other styles, as well as on developing choreography.
I choreograph my warm up exercises to include ballet/modern basic concepts, as well as techniques crucial to all styles of bellydance, so that dancers are trained to really MOVE, safely, efficiently, and thoroughly, not just to dance one specific style.
It's a great class for dancers of other styles who are interested in utilizing the suppleness of bellydance in their work, or bellydancers who are looking for a technical basis to help them try other styles. It's an opportunity for more serious bellydance students to deepen their physical awareness, technical prowess, and develop a basis from which to create their own style.
