hope you could repair the beauty and she's still flying. My analysis as an not so experienced pilot: It's not underpowerded, it was just a wrong start by not using full throttle from the beginning, by not raising the elevator enough during the left turn and by being afraid to not over pulling the elevator during rolling. The correction you made after take offwasn't bad and you have kept the energy instead of raising up, but the turn was too steep for this speed. Take care.

It is a beautiful plane. Good Job do you have any close up pics of it? Where can i get a set of plans?
Should have built a Stinson 108-3 with a larger rudder :)
Was this a kit? if so where from?

I had no intention of going left nor right. The plan was to gain hight straight forward..The plane however had its own plan and stalled on me on take off due to lack of airspeed.Tried to recover with the rudder but this particular aircraft has a very small rudder, and again, airspeed. The floats did not glide very well in the snow, and they were also heavy. The damage was minor in this episode, and the plane flew very well on wheels.
