This is just a glitch... occasionally I will find a jakal stuck in the ground, but hes still able to fire...

Happened to me back in 2002 this elite was doing this, waAay before anniversary came out

@99jjyy I'm hardly getting defensive, I was being completely casual about the whole thing actually.
And I was just making an observation, it doesn't have to be right. Anyway, it's clearly just a glitch that caused it to freeze; and those are definetly shields.

@99jjyy Fall damage, friendly fire, grenades... it's possible it could have been harmed by someone else.

@leopardgeckocrazy I think your getting defensive because your wrong but I can still prove you wrong on all three of those
Friendly fire isn't possible because they wouldn't have anything to shoot at, no grenades because there was no one to throw grenades at, there is no place high enough to take any fall damage
plus they aren't even shields they are just.... like that.
