This old cow flies in for one week, drives around a bit, filming from her car, speaking french to lusophone people and presents it like she's doing something incredibly brave.
As bad as the problem/situation may be, this bitch isn't helping the cause by 'snooping' around and/or interviewing so called 'contacts' and officials potentially putting their lives & her own at risk!!!!
Dont be mistaken, there will be no help from europe or any other place, the bastards in the UN, EU, OON and all that other shit are all in heads deep in this game. There is no way out for all of us.
Sigh. Thats exactly what im saying they are doing, that has been my point. i believe they ARE trying to imply much more through the way in which they present the issues. you disagree. i think you are wrong and youre missing the point im making. you think im wrong. We're done
@AaronRoiCohen They aren't trying to show why Guinea Bissau is a failed nation. They are showing how the country is being used in the drug trade. That's it, they show it, it is seen and move on. The country is being used as a way station for cocaine enroute to Europe from South America. Whether or not the government is benefiting or just to weak to enforce the law is ones own impression. There are many articles make your own opinion. It is a small country relative to countries in this world.
@aldojr86 where are u getting this information....? "being such a small country makes this problem all the more real"??? Like what are you talking about? What is "real"? and what are you basing this on? what is a small country? small relative to where you are from? and what is the scale of cocaine trade? what is the relative scale of the trade to the population and how does that compare to other countries with the same problem? you are stating things without any real facts/background knowledge.
do you have any background in this other than this video? my point is not that cocaine trade is good for guinee bissau, it's how they present people and the problem. they basically pin problems almost all west african countries have, as a result of a problem only one country (Bissau) really has. the government is underfunded, but what is the CAUSAL relationship between that and cocaine traded?...where's the evidence? this is a 30 min TV show, you can't honestly believe this is well thought out
@AaronRoiCohen Being such a small country of around only 1.6 million makes this problem all the more real for a lot of the people in the country. Like the one army contact they interviewed suggested it could result in fractures within the countries army who would want more profits from the trade. That it basically what took place a few days ago, although it was the police who were charged with a coup plot. The drug trade breeds corruption, chaos and conflicts. I will agree that they are struggli
Prisoners keep escaping through the hole in the ceiling... Only in Africa looool!!
