  • I have loved Laura for so long - and recently I went through a breakup - Laura was right there for me - I love this ditty off the Touch CD!

  • @andrew1236 This is a brilliant song to get you through a break-up. I've used it several times myself...

  • Fantastic! I've never heard this one. It's so wonderful that whenever I think that I've heard them all, I get blessed with a surprise and hear my dear sweet friend who got me through my difficult teen/young Adult years, a new song to touch my life. I miss you Laura, but you will never be forgotten. Keep singing in heaven.

  • she looked beautiful on the cover of this cd!!!

  • @freezetomorrow Thanks for the info! I had the feeling it was changed to fit more with Branigan's style... :D

  • @freezetomorrow == thanks for the info .

  • @PrinceWatercress == thanks for replying ..

  • @PrinceWatercress Yes, you're mostly right. This version was produced by SAW, however they changed the arrangement so that it fit in with Branigan's style and the rest of her album 'Touch'. Much like they re-arranged Hazell Dean's version of 'Turn It Into Love', which was originally recording with Kylie Minogue. Incidentally, I have in the past uploaded both the original version of Shattered Glass (recorded by Scottish singer Ellie Warren in 1980) and Laura Branigan's 1986 cover on my channel.

  • @hitfactory1403 Yes. Believe it or not. Sounds like one of their late '80s works.

    They also produced another song on the "Touch" album called "Shattered Glass," which is a cover of another European singer named Ellie Warren from 1980, hence why SAW never wrote it.
