Omega's Maintenance Man Fired

The Board fired our maintenance man. Which I asked them to do a while back, yet they wanted it to appear as their idea. The maintenance man used to frequent in and out of the Secretary's house everyday. I would see him coming and going from there 4 or 5 times a day.

Anyway, when I asked the Board why the Maintenance man was fired. I was told it was not relevant or that I did not need to know.

So, let me remind everyone of the Law and what the Law says!!!

718.111 The association.--
(12) OFFICIAL RECORDS.--
d. All contracts for work to be performed. Bids for work to be performed shall also be considered official records and shall be maintained by the association.
9. A current copy of any management agreement, lease, or other contract to which the association is a party or under which the association or the unit owners have an obligation or responsibility.

15. All other records of the association not specifically included in the foregoing which are related to the operation of the association.

So - Explain to me why you guys stand by and do not enforce the statutes? This is exactly why we need change in legislation! This is NOT acceptable behavior period.
