If you had put wood pellets in the kettle instead of water, would wood gas have come out the pour spout? Or, could you put a gasification chamber in the flue & get wood gas?

Can a rocket stove make usable amounts of wood gas, if it's big enough?

@mangyscavenger YES..if you put wood pellets / straw / saw dust / wood chips into the 'boiler' it WOULD of made a flammable gas and that gas can run a generator.
