They are honoring the Bible because it is God's Word!

I understand the title of this video, it is RE: to someone saying Pentecostal is not of God, so you responded by questioning them. Gotcha!

@SaudaraLink So, what basis does any Protestant have to tell whether something is of God or not? The same basis that has allowed for the near infinite division of Protestantism. It is sad but true, and it hurts my heart. Where is the authority?

I really enjoyed your talk. It was very enlightening. It is nice to hear a young man speak with such understanding and wisdom. That comes from above. Thanks.

That was a great argument you gave. Thanks for that, it was a blessing for me. The key is true spiritual discernment, which is another gift from the Lord, so that we can know what is of God and what isn't. There is a reason Christ sent the Holy Spirit to indwell all believers. We are marked by our Father in Heaven, He knows what is His and what isn't, & we can know also because it is, as Paul points out, all of the same spirit. Blessings to you!

@SaudaraLink ... So are you Pentecostal?
-
@MultiMaktub ,,, Well i believe that people refer to themselves as pentecostal, is becuz they are acknowledging that they are believing what happend on the day of Pentecost as what they believe today for themselves. The bible Does say in acts ch.2,, that they (the people) continued in the apostles doctrine... What it comes down to is this, Either your preacher is preaching what Peter and the rest of the apostles preached, or he isnt. And yes... What they preached are the words in Red........
I have just one thing to say! Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is unforgivable!! I feel really sorry for your soul! You are going to go for a really hot swim in a lake of fire!!!!

I believe in the gifts. Please listen to the video. I am responding to someone who posted a message saying Pentecostalism is not of God.

If you make yourself open to signs and wonders, you are in danger of being deceived by Satan.
I believe it is better to be cautious than to always openly accept these visions and signs. Jesus is the only one we need to accept fully.
But honestly, tongues bother me in my heart because it has no use when it is just aimless babble.
If God gave me a gift to speak the word in French to a French man, I would surely consider that tongues. And I would boast about it either.

If you reject spiritual gifts, you put yourself in danger of disobeying scripture and disobeying God. The Bible says to despise not prophesyings, and to desire spiritual gifts. We should be cautious, and discern, but not reject without discerning. I Thessalonians 5 teaches the proper balance. Btw, God did not like it when Israel did not believe in spite of all the miracles.
