  • shoulder driven with straight arm is the fastest stroke for the 50 and 100 hands down

  • Why bringing shoulder blades give shoulders more power. Bottomline: Stability and explosive power. Explosive power-think compressing a spring hard as you can then releasing...when shoulder blades separate its like a spring snapping. Stability-creates a firm base to use that spring power. Think pushing a car-you make sure your feet are stable on the ground to produce most pushing force.

  • it connects your arms....so the faster you bring back one arm, the faster the other arm moves through the water...the arms should be moving in one steady motion...im jus tlearning this style, and i think its really gonna help my sprinting

  • Why does bringing the shoulder blades back give the shoulders more power?
