The Republican Party needs more Coolidges. Coolidge was a stereotypical Yankee Rural New Englander. A deeply pious practicing Congregationalist, much in the tradition of his native rural Vermont. He was shy, had a high pitched Yankee twang and was very thrifty. Thrifty, knowledgeable, a good sense of humor, modest, minimalist, fatalist (believing everything is left for fate to decide). He was also pro-civil rights and the ultra fiscal conservative.

In Presidential society circles, many analysis folks have said that if it were not for his wife, Grace( who was held in high esteem), Calvin Coolidge would have had the kind of reputation as President that he actually had.
It was the roaring 20s; everybody that wanted a job had one. We sure could use Cal Coolidge to help in today's terrible economy.

I agree Calvin doesn't get the credit he deserves and has been completely removed from history , he is being over shadowed by the communist pinko college professor's saying Woody Wilson , FDR , LBJ , and O'Bummer saying that these are the greatest men ever to manage a country. Let me see WW1 Woody , WW2 FDR , Vietnam LBJ and now the middle east with O'Bummer our troops are still there I thought we were bringing them home.
