Visit my bookstore at http://www.LearnToPaint.net I started the sky with a flat wash of Raw Sienna. Over this I put in some Ultramarine Blue. Before the sky was dry I put in some distant hills using a mix of Ultramarine and Alizarin Crimson but to be honest it wasn't nearly strong enough and I lost the effect. Before the hills were dry I put in the trees using a stronger mix of Lemon Yellow and Paynes Gray.

  • good job my friend. Do you teach classes. I want to learn this art.

  • @J4archae I don't teach classes but it is something I've considered for the future. I'm just trying to teach through these videos and DVDs at the moment. Thanks for watching and very best of luck.

  • iF you had a Keba artmate your paper wouldn't bow ,buckle and rise like a sponge cake any more. Put yourself out of your misery and search KEBAARTMATE Artists Extreme Watercolour for a selection of videos featuring the English invented swedish products

  • @jbchaslam that's a nice tool you've got there Ben. Unfortunately I just don't have the patience to pre-stretch paper. I like to wet it all over first and then just refix it tight as I'm painting.

  • @WatercolourWorkshop Hi Misty You don't have to wait for your paper to dry . As the papers flat as soon as its in the stretcher. Its very quick to put your paper in and you can slosh about like a scuba diver like never before. There is nothing like it and its the most practical thing for artists. I know what surface i would rather work on. I won't preach any more All the best check the keba videos on utube and watch me on TV search Utube Extreme Watercolour.

  • @jbchaslam I'll certainly bear it in mind Ben. Best of luck.

  • @WatercolourWorkshop thank you =]

  • @icceeQueen give it a go yourself. It's not as difficult as you think if you put the hard work in. After a while it gets a little easier. Thanks for watching.

  • you make it look so easy :(
