@nukethewhales1986 they are not int the majority so thats why there is a bsu. Its funny people dont realize that issues that concern black people may not concern other groups. Also I have my school has a Latino student union. But you are Mexican so you are not aware of the plight of black people in this country alot of these intstitions and groups for black started in a time where we had to form our own organizations

Lol this video is funny. I'm Latin or Mexican, whichever works for you, so I'm neither here nor there on this next comment/question, but isn't the concept of bso racist? Not the idea , the concept. Suppose there were a white student union. I'm almost certain that it would be then.

Actually there is theory that states that it is not possible for minority groups to be racist because they lack a key compponent to racism: power. The powerful majority can be racist but the underrepresented can be, say biased. But BSU can be diverse and our memberships crosses "racial" boundaries we have white, hispanic, muslium, and asian members who relate to our mission statement, purpose, disscussions, and activities.
