secret lovers-nelena one shot-part 1

I've had this idea for a while and it started out as a jemi story but i thourght "why not change the couple for once?" so here we go: my first ever nelena one shot.

to spill the beans

I would have let go of my dreams
and thrown out any hopes of our future

you are my solace for a life that I up and left
that has otherwise trapped me in it
and instead of an imaginary life I thought I wanted
you are my lover, my affair, the only way I can have it
and yes I insisted on your love
I would have it no other way
the next time I see you
no more lies, just the truth
we seek warmth in the arms of another
we are secret lovers"
miss may lowered the book of poems and looked out at the class, "what do you think this poem is about?"
after the class contuined to stay quiet i began to rase my hand.
Miss May smiled in my direction, "yes miss gomez?"
i toke a deep breath and said, "the poem is about two people who are very much in love but know they have to hide it from the rest of the world."
Miss may's smile grew and she nodded, "perfect!"
as if on que the bell rung out and i started to collect my things while heading to the door. I felt a hand on my shoulder and i turned around to see miss may standing there, "thank you for showing some intrest in my lession."
i desided i would tell the truth for the first time in what seemed like forever, " your welcome miss may, i guess i just know alot about the subject of keeping a relationship on the down low."
she stared at me slightly confused but didn't question me.

As i walked down the long, empty hallways i felt like i was being followed and i knew i most lily was. I stopped suddenly and let out a sigh, "what?"
"you seemed to know a lot about that poem." i could hear the smile in his voice and i turned around to face him-my eyes narrowing into a glare, "relax princess." he said trying to hold back a chuckle.
i walked towards him and my face softened, "of course i know alot about that subject nick, i live it everyday....with you!"
Nick's faced filled with his familar smile as he cupped my face looking me straight into my eyes, "yeah, i know, i'm sorry."
my eyes began to fill with tears, "please nick, can we stop hiding? i can't live it anymore."

{no pov}

nick: *lets out a sigh as he drops his hands-he knew that he couldn't live with it too....but what could he do? she's a nerd! He's a jock. what would happen if they find out? what would they do?* *he toke a step away.* i don't know selly...
selena: *A tear falls from her eyes and hits the floor below.* why? don't you love me?
nick: *he quickly moved back over to her and once again cupped her face.* of course i love you selena, i love you so much.
selena: prove it!
nick: *leaned forward and presses his lips to her's in a soft sweet kiss.*
selena: *even though the kiss gave her tingle she shoke her head.* not good enough.
nick: what do you want from me!?
selena: prove you love me or else....or else....-
nick: or else? *scarred of what she is about to say.*
selena: *quietly, she looks down.* or else i'm done with you.
nick: selena.....
selena: i mean it nick. *walks away.*
nick: *sighs and runs his hands through his hair.*
