Yasmin is no moderate. I like Terry when he cited Thomas Paine. I may not agree with what you say but I will defend absolutely your right to say it. That is the essence of civilised Western society. Enlightenment values mean that in the West there is no topic that that should be considered free of rational and critical examination. Yasmin's behaviour indicates that she simply does not agree with such values. She holds a pre-enlightenment, pre- rational world view. She's modern only by exterior.
