Playing some games that I have with the ASUS HD 5770 512MB and ATHLON 640 II X 4 3.0GHz = = my budget gaming computer (Preforms perfectly but I need more ram( I got 8GB DDR3 now) and possibly a new hdd)
I do not own any of the songs on this. If WMG dare gets rid of the whole sounds in this video because of one thing I will be pretty annoyed about waiting 1 hour and 10 minutes to upload!
Also, this is a benchmark video - lol, I was just really messing about in the games like l4d2 when I was pissing off our team (I kept startling the witch and throwing Motolovs at our team because they never helped me) and bc 2, the spasm attack just distracted me and the whole game I was just messing about. Apart from burnout I suppose which I had to use a controller for (I can't race with arrow keys)
Anyways, computer info is in the video and on my channel, look for "New pc" on my channel description.
I played at 1080p but due to having crappy internet and crappy compression programs I had to bump it down to 720p so it'd upload faster. Games run smooth without recording 100% no lag but recording causes these huge spikes sometimes... I mean nothing really under 30 fps apart from some games but random spikes with 40 then back to 60 making it look laggy. I'm assuming it's my hdd...
@4232267 Considering it's 1GB and hopefully using a high resolution (1080p) then yes otherwise pointless, however I'd get it as a pathway for the future.

i hate it how fraps just eats your frames :(
so now i just render crysis by taking pics of every frame. No lag :D

@Avataryoutuification 8GB DDR3 ram has boosted speed up LOADS and rendering is far smoother and faster.

@imalwayswatchingu00 Mine cost £230 something. I bought all the parts separately from the internet at places like ccl, ebay (Brand new anti-static ESD wristband just to be safe as my interior case is painted so I can't ground myself) umm - component warehouse, maplin, pc world etc. I wouldn't go local as prices are high and not worth it, go to the internet.

@imalwayswatchingu00 Sorry for the late reply, on the other side of the Earth with my school and work experience...
Get the ASUS corsair formula IV (imo) with options to crossfire your hd 5770 to a tri or quad setup - (Saves money for future upgrades) Phenom II 955 is fine but I'd rather get an x 6 but that's just me. USB 3.0 is pointless atm but will future proof. If you plan on getting a different heatsink then get OEM cpu as your warranty is void with different heatsinks on AMD cpus!

@Avataryoutuification In australia, $574's going to get me, SLI mobo (GA-790XT-USB3),
Phenom II 955, hd5770, 4gb ram, 500gb hdd, thermaltake v3 pack.
But, you can drop back a mobo.. and the cpu, and save like $150 ><
You just get a 95w mobo without sli or usb3, with a athlon x4 (forgot the number..)
How much did your setup cost?
Where'd you buy at?

@imalwayswatchingu00 Also, I played this in 1080p on my tv but on my monitor at 1400 x 900 the frame rates are just miles better, 1080p with 512MB 5770 can really be annoying to turn AA and AF up so look for the 1GB version or if you do, crossfire the 512MB versions and it should be fine, 16 ROPS in both of em so AA shouldn't be a problem with 32ROPS!

@imalwayswatchingu00 Oh and if you can get 4GB DDR3 because I'm finding the 2GB to really be a bottleneck on loading games but otherwise the preformance is fine, if you're happy with loading 4 seconds later than everyone else with their 4GB DDR3 high clocked ram.. Your hdd can also play a factor in here but generally once it's all loaded onto the ram it's there on the rams problem and 7200RPM is fast enough.
I'd spend extra money on more ram/ssd/case and mobo but it's up to you.

@imalwayswatchingu00 Sorry, I thought you said $500, well you got plenty of money to spare. Plenty.
Dude, you could get a better mobo and another hd 5770, crossfire em - the OCZ 500W ModXstream is more than enough for two hd 5770s, it's very stable even @ 40C (That's why I'm getting a new case) 11.93V all the time on the 12V rail.
