Because it teaches quite wrongly that porn causes molestation and that accepting Jesus cures molesters and that no further punishment is necessary. All these claims are patently false and the latter two are offensive and dangerous.

@l337pwnage no- i am not. i grew up in a baptist household, hardcore baptist. my church exclusively handed out these creepy little dandies door to door on sunday. and i am a woman. so i know all too well their lines of thinking. hence why i am agnostic.lol

The subject matter of this tract is uncomfortable. It's ridiculous to imply saying one quick little prayer cures someone of such disgusting behavior. He would have to be in therapy for the rest of his life and kept away from all children. Otherwise he would most likely give in to his thoughts and desires again, as so many repeat offenders in real life have shown. This is the problem with mainstream Protestantism--they tend to view salvation as instantaneous, when it's in fact an ongoing process.

I like how this person acted out this Tract vocally. I've never heard of anyone doing such a thing before. But, I don't see why this Tract had to be considered so "controversial". This kind of thing happens alot in this fallen and sinful world.

So, let's see what we've learned here: Child molestation is caused by porn. The cure for pedophilia is the "Sinner's Prayer." Hmmm. I don't think so. The old Pentacostal Church I attended had an usher who said the same prayer. He still molested his daughter for years, other children too. That is how he was caught. His daughter never reported him.
