==[At Selena's House]==

Selena: (sitting at the dinner table while playing with her food) I can't believe it..
Dad: (finishes chewing his steak and looks at her) What?
Selena: (puts down her fork and sighs) Nick is moving to New York with his Mom and little brother Frankie..
Jake: (dissapointed) You mean Frankie won't be here next week? I wanted to go over his house to play Call of Duty..
Selena: (Rolls eyes and looks at the clock) Mom's late for dinner.
Dad: Oh don't worry. She's probably in traffic or buying groceries. (pops another chunk of steak in his mouth)
Selena: (pushes her dinner aside) I'm not hungry..(stands up and walks upstairs to her room)
==[In her room]==
Selena: (laying on the bed looking up at the ceiling and lets out a sigh) Nick.. (takes out phone and texts Nick saying "Hey handsome :) I miss you".
Jake: (knocks on the door) Sellyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy...
Selena: (shouts) The door is open!
Jake: (opens door and walks in carrying his cell phone in one of his hands) You have mom's number, right?
Selena: (nods) Yeah, why? (takes out her phone again and scrolls to her contacts list. Finds her mom's number and gives the phone to him)
Jake: (takes her phone) I'm just calling mom, to see where she's at.
Selena: Oh. Okay. You can just keep my phone, give it to me in the morning. (yawns)
Jake: Ooookay..(walks out and closes the door)
Selena: (lays on her bead and pulls the blanket close to her and falls asleep.

Moments later, I felt like I was in a whole different world. It was a place full of darkness..I looked around, I saw a little shed and to my right..there was a cemetery. I walked closer and closer to the cemetery, there was only one gravestone. I walked and stood infront of the gravestone, I bended foward and saw the words "Here Lies Jennifer Ann Gomez." I stopped and I was in shock. That was my mom's name. I grew weaker and weaker as I read on "1974 - 2010". I fell to my knees, as tears fell one by one down my cheek. I couldn't believe it, It was scary as hell.

Selena: (screaming)
Dad: (runs into her room with a flashlight in one hand, and a taser in the other) What happened?
Selena: (sits up sweating all over and breathing heavily) M-m-Mom..Gravestone..1974...
Dad: (confused) What? (walks over to her feeling her forehead) Honey, you're all sweaty. -and why did you say all those things? Was it a dream?
Selena: (shakes head) More like a nightmare..(looks at the clock, it says 1:06) Is mom home yet?
Dad: (dissapointed and shakes head) Not yet..She probably has a night shift.
Selena: Well, if she had a night shift..wouldn't she call and let us know?
Dad: (shrugs and yawns) Just go back to sleep, (walks to the door) She'll be home by morning. I promise. (walks out, leaving the door open)
Selena: (worried about mom) What if something happened..(groans and goes back to sleep)
==[2 Hours Later]==
Selena: (wakes up from all the noise that is being made. Looks over to the door and sees light coming from downstairs. Also sees blue and red light from the windows. Walks out the door and eardrops)
Police1: (to Kaine, [dad] ) She wasn't home when she was supposed to be?
Dad: (to police) Yes, (crying with anger) Why does this have to happen, Jennifer, Why?!?
Police2: Calm down, sir. It will be alright. We already found her and the car, she is sent to the hospital for further investigation.
Dad: Can I come with you guys? (frusterated)
Police2: I'm sorry. (shakes head) We can't let you go.
Selena: (confused. walks down the stairs to see her dad) Dad?
Dad: (turns around) Selena.
Selena: (speechless)
Dad: (walks towards her) It's ok Selena, I will explain to you.
Selena: Mom..?
Dad: (shakes head) She..she's dead. (cries while walking over to the couch)
Selena: (tears fall) What? She--she--She's DEAD?? (bursts out crying) nonononono..she's not dead..
(walks over to the police) Tell me my dad is only joking..
Police1: (shakes head)
Police3: I'm sorry, he is only telling the truth..
Selena: (falls down on knees and cries) Mom! (looks up to the ceiling) Mom...(cries and cries)
Justin: (sleepy) What's going on? (rubs eyes)
Selena: (stands up and walks over to Justin) Mom..she's..gone.
Justin: (opens eyes wide) Huh?

I was horrified, to hear that my own mom..had died. From what? You may ask..I don't know. All I know is I just lost the greatest mom in the whole world..I loved her. She was my inspiration, I cried until my eyes were pink and puffy. I couldn't talk for days after the loss. Worst--I couldn't talk to Nick about my own mother without bursting out crying. You wouldn't imagine how many times I got excused for crying in class, Though, Chelsea was always there for me.
