I too had the Digitech 2 and was happy with the performance, BUT the 4 version is a gigantic leap forward. There is so much more to give an accurate control over the effect. For example, the thing I like most is the pedal control option of pressing down for the harmony, and releaseing the pedal to stop the harmony effect. For me this is critical to give a "true" sound. Also the Pitch correction and male/female voicing. It is 500% more effect for $200 more. Highly recommended. Thanks. Mike

I have a question about using digitech vocalist live 2 or 4 is it possible to produce harmonies withouth connecting this device into guitar or midi keyboard coz i want try it in midi karaok. and how much is the price of that gadget? Man, between the effects on the vocals, and the effects on the guitar, you are getting ALOT of sound from just a solo performance!

great song choice well done! im tossing up between the boss ve20 and the live 4. i really am not sure which one is better, i like how you dont have to preset with this, (just follows chords...) but i think the ve 20 has more effects and a looper, but does not follow the chords that your playin, what do u guys think?

Will this work if you have your guitar tuned lower than natural or capo up above natural (piano tuned)? Thanks for you help.

Hello Mike love your show and the performance of the VOCALIST LIVE 4, do you know how I would plug this machine thru my tascam 2488 mixer? Do I plug my mike into the vocalist then the vocalist into my mixer mic input?
