I live in Windsor, and the Americans LOVE coming over here to party in our bars and go to our Bingos and Casinos.......EVERY DAY! and vice versa, when the big sales come out, where do Canadians here like to shop?? in the States. Black Friday? Boxing day sales?? we get more bang for our buck over there. So it is a 2 way street as far as I am concerned. Plus, the Americans get more for their money here, it's usually worth more.

Eimb1999, my husband is Canadian but has a US Green card. When he would fly back to Vancouver to visit his mom, he would catch hell from the Canadians. WTF? Coming back to the US, would be a breeze--ask him a question or 2 and say welcome back. Me being American, I caught hell going into Canada every time. I'm not anti Canadian, I'm just stating a fact. As far as the commercial, I love it. It's hella funny!

I'm sorry but it's not about being anti-American or anti-Canadian, for anyone who is a hockey fan, this is about HOCKEY and the rivalry between Team Canada and Team USA not which country hates the other more. It's a COMMERCIAL meant to attract attention and get people talking about the company that put this commercial out and this is exactly what is happening!! I think the commercial is great; smart and funny.

Americans by and large don't hate Canadians at all. It's Canadians who hate Americans much more often. I see it all the time. I've never ever met an American who hated us. But I meet anti-American Canadians every day up here.
