From The Seekers farewell concert july 7 1968 at the BBC in London.
Georgy girl, one of their most loved songs and the very last one they ever sang together in the sixties. Some have asked special for this so here it is.
"Georgy Girl"is composed by Jim Dale
and Tom Springfield.

This was the last song they sang at the farewell concert and after the lights and tv camera's were switched off Judith cried of relief in her dressing room.
She was now free and could go ahead singing and performing the music she wanted to perform.
But for most people myself included we lost Judith for 25 years and had no idea what she was doing.Only in recent
years have i been able to obtain her
solo albums thanks to the Internet.
Their just lovely and i recommend them
to all.

  • If Judith Durham were young today and competed on American Idol or any Idol shows from whatever countries she would blow them all away.

  • It was all so clean and wholesome then. Everything's rotten and sleazy today.

  • This tune is so beautiful it brought a couple of tears to my eyes.

  • Just great...feel good music !

  • 33 dislikers,could it be you just don't try?

  • Someone spilled coffee on her just before taping and there wasn't enough time to change so she had to find a way to hide it.

Great song from a great but crazy decade.

  • This is the perfect woman. She could quit all the fame and success and go have family. Nowadays singers grow old and cranky because they don't have a proper family their whole life.

  • Seriously, f**k new music.

  • she's genuine

  • @MrGoblin60 i agree. in rhianna's new film clip she practically masturbates for all of us to see and she wears little. problem is, the under 30 year olds buy that crap. computerized singing and heavy beats to mask everything so they have to have filthy filmclips so young boys will watch and consequently buy.

  • Joyous!
