For many terrible, horrifying years, from January 20, 2001 to January 20, 2009, Josiah Bartlet was my President, and there are days even since January 20, 2009, when he becomes my president again, even if only for an afternoon.

I have more hope now than I did eight years ago, but there are days when we need a fictional President for inspiration. Thank you, Aaron Sorkin.
