Backyard Ski Jump 60 foot Gap 50 MPH Snowmobile Tow-in

Fargo ND/ Moorhead MN can get a little desperate for some good ski jumping. But with the passion for skiing of 3 local friends anything can happen. Brian Schwandt, Steven Ystebo, and Justin Felix spent 30 hours with 2 snowblowers and several shovels, making this large jump. its located right on the Red River on the Minnesota side. The gap has officially been measured and is 60+ feet, we tow in at 45-50 MPH and take off of a 10-12 foot jump. Our landing is the bank of the river extended up another 20 feet, up a pile of snow.

unless you live in north dakota and have experienced the lack of a good hill with the ability to have a jump bigger than 20 feet, you have no clue how awesome this is, major props on the jump
