We're about to film our lil "Indy" film during the late fall. And I needed another camera. After reviewing HD cameras that filmmakers were recommending, (low budget filmmakers) I settled on the JVC GZ-HD30. You can tell the difference when I use it towards the end. It's FULL HD, AVCHD/MPEG 2. And, I needed an HD camera to up my films and videos. I'd recommend this to low budget filmmakers. The only probelm is, you'll need a good computer with alot of GB's and Memory. And, if you don't have that, just use an external hard drive, and edit and render on that. Because, when I rendered this it was 355MB (and that's for an MP4 file, when they are usually under 60 for this length in SD). And the HD part is/was only 20% of the final video. So I could only imagine doing a full internet tube video or when we start filming.

This is truely a nice "prosumer" camcorder. Although real 4real, the camera that was used in 80% of the video ain't all that bad. But, you'll notice the difference in filming. And I even tried some tricks to get the SD to look as much HD as I could. But, if you can't afford a good HD cam, go for the cam I used to film my HD cam.

And if you're wondering what the sunglasses are, they are the REAL ROCCO B'S!!!
