  • Wow! Now, that I got my own Dan Moi i must say your method is not easy to duplicate at all. The "wow-wow" effect- how do you create it? I cannot get a sound that deep. Perhaps I am not opening my throat enough? Share some tips please!

  • @Vault24

The sipmlest "wow-wow" effect is created by lips movements.

The deeper vibratos are reached by throat and diaзрragm movements and vibrations. Our diaphragm vibrates when we laugh for example. Here are used the same vibrations but without voice.

If you are beginner as jaw harp player, some difficulties with openning your throat can be occured. Then try to sing low sounds, as low as you can. Try to sing by throat, some throat elements from beatbox will be useful also.

  • Very nice! I am looking for sample tunes around the internets. I will be happy, if I can replicate yours!

  • @Vault24

What do your mean by replicate?

  • Wow! Awesome!

Have you ever been in Vietnam?

  • I've never been their. But I hope that someday I will visit Vietnam =)

  • @Vault24 i think you can easily achieve this open-throat-sound by saying an english/american style "RRRRR" (as in Erik e.g.), of course without making an actual sound.

  • @truestep2008 Басовый

  • Это Дан Мои бас или стандарт или еще какой?

  • I WANT ONE!!!! NOW!!!!......-in waiting-..I'm gonna buy one...but where to look?...And the Hunt BEINGS!

  • Stop calling it "jew's harp". These originate from Northern Vietnam, common among Sapa minorities.
