Air Tripping is only a glitch!

NOTE: This video is to debunk another video that claimed to prove that there is such a thing as air tripping. That video showed Sonic going into the up-b tumble state in actual match footages, but never showed what happened before, as they weren't aware of the cause. This shows how this glitch is triggered.
As of now, this video has long served its purpose. I'm just leaving it up for the heck of it, as well as the explanation that went along with it after this section, for anyone who bothers to watch it...

Okay, so after testing, I have discovered that Air Tripping isn't random, and it is, in fact, just a glitch. I replicated this "Air Trip" at will using this glitch.
This, at least with Sonic, is caused when one does his Spring Jump and then lands on the ground at the apex of the Spring Jump. When this happens, the next time one is in the air, as soon as one is out of their jumping animation (or other animation such as the Homing Attack), one is immobilized as if one already preformed the up-B, already.

So with this, it's rather a glitch, and not a tripping physics mechanic like the Ground Trip. I haven't tested this with other characters said to have "Air Tripped", yet, but I'm confident to say that some similar glitch is at fault, too, and not an actual mechanic.

@Shock0055 Well, Sakurai did add in random tripping to a fighting game, which is pretty unheard of and stupid as it is. I guess that, along with the other many stupid things Sakurai added, made people view him in such a negative way that they would think he would add in something such as tripping in mid-air. XD

well in sonic racing it said my feet dont touch the ground so sonic must run on thin air sometimes and he trips i guess? i don't even see tripping...
