Cool video, though. Now tell me when the plugins that let me watch WMV files are going to be updated... My library of porn is now worthless... lol

Quicktime is slow and have many bugs but the audio engine is AMAZING!!!!!

I'm not sure why Apple insists on making each successive software update LESS functional. I haven't used GuitarBand or iMovie in 2 years and now I'm looking for a different media player (or just the last version, I suppose) because what was once a very simple process (performing simple editing and trimming) has now become an exercise in futility.
What is - "select all excluding silence"???? What happened to the handy preset window sizes? WHY are the controls INSIDE the viewing window?

They've dropped the pro export features. The finder preview doesn't have a scroll bar, plays back at full volume. and has no volume control. The transport controls now actually cover the footage you are trying to watch.

Nice review, QuickTime X is pretty nice. I do miss the advanced exporting options and Perian in QT7 Pro, but luckily they give it you an option to install for free it on the Snow Leopard disk :D
