  • @0:53 is probably the reason why they dont race there anymore

  • @TPMJ5997 I doubt it. that happened in 2005. the same thing happened at texas in 2003 and theyre still racing there

  • I heard they might be bringing this race back next year, which is cool.....I'm still a firm believer that there needs to be a balance of road courses and ovals to keep the racing diverse. In my opinion that's what has always made American open wheel racing more interesting than any other form of motorsport in the world. What other series races on tight and twisty street circuits, wide open super speedways, and on winding undulating natural road courses. The answer.....none

  • @XXformula I'm the nephew of a past owner of the track and he says they're coming back for sure. I'm trusting his judgement. Good news for the world of motorsport

  • Man i was at the 2002 2004 2009 and 2010 race at chicagoland and it really sucks that its gone because the racing there was just spectacular. Why does the irl have to take out all the good race tracks? First kansas and now chicagoland? I dont know if i can even watch this series anymore without those tracks.

  • @sportsdud22 well good news is they're considering bringing back Chicagoland already. Since Milwaukee is already dead

  • We got all these fuckin street courses and road courses and they are boring as fuck and the IRL decided to get rid of a great track i was planning to go to in 2011. Fuck whoever made this decision

  • @seantal007 haha i'm hamilton fan too. but the f1 races are so fuckin boring that i begin to celebrate every crash...except hamilton vs massa last weekend

  • @legonascar88fan yeah street courses are boring as fuck compared to an oval track where all you fo is steer left for hours. That is REALLY exciting dude

  • @XXformula dam wright

  • thank you for posting buddy rices flip from that angle Iv been looking for it

  • @sportsdud22 Because people are broke and don't have the money to take a day off, go all the way to an oval, which are often out of town or a bit far, watch a race and came back. It somehow become "cheaper" to organize a street race than race on oval. It's not really a political decision for the indy racing league, it's just profit!

  • @TPMJ5997 who was that guy? that was some bad stuff right there

  • @OldSchoolNascar But they shouldn't go to Las Vegas again. Yes, 'true' Americans hate circuits and love bowls, but go to the right circuit (or gt the right layout in the case of Sears Point) and you'll get great racing. Just look at the BTCC, Turismo Carretera and British F3 for great 2-wide racing on various circuits. If Greece didn't exist, then a round in Britain could have success.

  • @FreekyFreezer Yup , ich spreche deutsch - Yeah I do :b

  • @seantal007 edit: so do you speak german?

  • @FreekyFreezer hmm i wasn't so happy about that , cuz I'm half british and half german and i am a huge hamilton fan . love his aggressive driving style. i really dont like vettel he's just unsympathic to me but i like schumi (: hope mercedes and mclaren have better cars next season so there'll be great and exciting racing again.

    doesn't mean i think vettel is bad - he's awesome - i just dont like him ^^

uhm i really don't know about the lotus thing , sry :b
